Now lets see what happends....

SAN DIEGO -- Reggie Bush has lost his bid to go to confidential arbitration to settle a lawsuit filed by a fledgling sports marketer.

The state Court of Appeal on Monday upheld a lower court's order denying Bush's motion to compel arbitration with Lloyd Lake, meaning the case will proceed in court.

Lake's attorney, Brian Watkins, said it was Bush's last-ditch effort to keep the case out of the public eye.

Lake is suing Bush and his parents to recoup nearly $300,000 in cash and gifts they allegedly accepted during Bush's sophomore and junior seasons at University of Southern California. Lake and his partner, Michael Michaels, were trying to attract Bush as a client for the marketing firm, New Era.

Isn't it interesting that the courts are willing to hear the complaints of the agents, but the NCAA isn't willing to draw any conclusions?

The NCAA needs to formulate new rules concerning information privacy so that all colleges, private and public, must fork it over if the NCAA demands it.

Hopefully the truth comes out and the NCAA will be forced to act. Wouldn't that be just desserts:D

Yeah, but knowing the NCAA and their idolization of USUC, that's what the punishment for wrongdoing would be: desserts. None for maybe a week.

Pretty flippin easy.

NCAA just needs to lobby Congress to grant them subpoena powers.

This could lead to Bush and Pete taking the stand, in public.
