Ouch. What someone on the comments said: "That may require screws. He will recover physically but mentally that may end his love for the game."

It looks like he just hurt it coming down from the shot, not even with anyone falling on him, but I couldn't see clearly. I wonder if he rolled his ankle and twisted the bone that way, or if the bone was just weak and broke from a straight-on jolt.

Anyway, what a thing to be pondering early Christmas morning. =0

I hope he does recover good and strong and soon.

I read that it required screws and rods, yikes

After watching my own ACL tear as it happened. (The first time...) I can't watch any sports-related injuries anymore. If it's bad enough to post a video, then I feel badly for the kid.

WOW...Geez that was a nasty injury. Its terrible the kid has to deal with that with his career in front of him. I wish him a healthy and full recovery.

My cousin and her husband (UW fans from the Seattle area) were at the game. My aunt mentioned that they both were pretty grossed out by that scene.

Skull, let me just say this, it was so bad that one of his teammates from the other end of the court was either about to cry or about to puke

Yeow, that is a suck. Reminds me a bit of Donnie Boyce's injury during the Big 8 tournament years ago. He somehow came back from that. I hope Roland is able to as well.

He lost a wheel. Nobody returns to compete after that. Use the scholarship, kid.
