One of the Good Ones Passed On

For those of you old enough to remember the days before ESPN when every Sunday Night the George Michael Sports Machine would come on giving recaps and whatnot on the sports of the time. I know a lot of you don't care a lot for Mike Wilbon, but I think he nailed the sentiment (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/12/24/AR2009122402952.html) perfectly in regards to George Michael and the kind of guy he was. I'll always remember watching him as the local sportscaster on the DC NBC station, just like I still remember John Saunders as the sportscaster on the Baltimore ABC station.

I enjoyed that show a lot. First started watching it when I lived in New Mexico.

I remember The Sports Machine well.It was the 1st Concise Replay of Sports Highlights.

Also Geoge Michael had one of the Great Comb-Overs Evar. :P
