Take the two last place teams in college football, pit them together in a bowl game. The catch is the game is midnight, at some place where the weather will be absolutely atrocious. It's time once and for all we settle who is the worst team in college football :D .

The Quilted Northern Toilet Bowl, thoughts?

I like the idea, But play the game the Night before The BCS Championship in The same stadium as the BCS Championship --- Let all the fans enjoy a extra game for all their hard earned money they are gonna spend ~~~ :)

Do you think the schools would agree to it even though it's just a huge joke?

Can't believe I looked this up, but this year it would be Western Kentucky vs. Eastern Michigan. Both were 0-12.

You give each school $150,000 to play and let them go at it. Would possibly be the sloppiest game of football played

I'd be more likely to watch a team get their first win of the season in a bowl game than to watch two 6-6 teams trade touchdowns.

No doubt, I'd watch the battle of the no wins

I'm taking Western Kentucky in a tie game 0 to 0 - WK wins by 3 first downs vs 2 ~~~~ :)

The only thing I would add would be that the place it's held must serve dollar beers.

That place would be rawkin.

What would inevitably happen is that there would be three horribly bad teams and one team (i.e. a 0-12 U. Washington team like last year) would get left out because their sos is too high. Then we would have a controvery with coaches politicking on TV that their team is the worst and deserves the nod. Pundits then would push for a playoff of the 16 worst teams. It is a lose-lose situation.

I was needing a good laugh. Thanks!!

Would the losing team get the trophy? Signifying they were the best worst team in all the land?

Did OSU retire the trophy for the loser bowl years ago?

Why not a bowl for "I want to be like the Big Boys". OSU v. Auburn. In Manhattan, Kansas on Feb 2nd at 6am.

We're almost as good as OU and Bama!!!

Such a great idea...I wonder if the schools could sell their allotment of tickets....I would defiantly watch this game.....the loser gets a trophy that is a big *

The game has to be played on the blue field in late December or early January so we can count on it being cold. There will be a contest at halftime between two lucky people selected at random playing for a case of Coors Light and a refund for the price of their game ticket.

Just think about this.....
Your team has lost 10 games with 2 more to go....
Now You start rooting for them to Lose the next two games so you can go to
"The Loser's Bowl" .... :)
I really think this Idea should be promoted -- We can do this....!!!
To hell with The BCS - We want "The Loser Bowl" ~~~ :)

This leaves out a very deserving Washington State team at 1-11. Sure, they won a game but it was early in the season and shouldn't be held against them.

Won't work. Teams from easy conferences will complain that their records are really a lot worse than they appear. Some teams will suggest that their last loss was not a rivalry, and should not be looked upon as a game where "you throw out the record books."
