With this, Livingston was cut. He was expected to be so good. It's a shame he never recovered from that awful knee injury.

excellent! it'll be interesting to see how long we keep him. i think he'll develop into a good, dependable shooter in the next few years. i remember watching him last year in the tourney, i believe. was very impressed, he was a one man wrecking crew out there.

is this weavers curtain call? with westbrook, sefalosha, harden and maynor in the backcourt it looks pretty solid there for years to come.

I feel bad for Shaun, though. I met that kid when he was a senior in high school, still undecided between Duke and the NBA draft. Even then, though I thought he was skilled enough to play in the NBA, I just felt like he was sooo small; too stick-figuresque. If he'd have gone to Duke, put on some weight against lesser competition, with more one-on-one coaching, and more time to grow, literally and within the game, I think we'd have seen him come out around age 20, 21, as an absolute force. Penny Hardaway with a handle.

Sigh for what could have been. Great kid, though. It's a real shame.

Weaver has three distinct advantages. Height. (He's 6'5"ish...) His shot. And his handle. He can play point against all but the harshest of full-court presses, and he's got a lot of room to continue learning. I'd like to see him make it, and I think he's smart enough to... but it's the work ethic that I keep hearing about with him. I really hope he pulls it all together.

im sure they would like to keep him but will he stay?? i dont see any of the other 4 going anywhere soon...unless they package someone for a dominant big man.

And Iverson.

I can see it now.

self-annointed Soonerfans poster OU_skull died suddenly of a massive stroke.

Sources say he was found clutching the sports page of the daily Oklahoman showing a picture of Allen Iverson in his new Thunder uniform.
