I have to think that is a great job, get on the field 5-10 times a game, hardly ever actually get hit, make a few hundred G's a year, not too shabby

Good for Garrett- he gets to be on a playoff team.

It does seem like a good job with the caveat of job security. No position is secure in the NFL, but coaches will change kickers in a New York minute. Until a kicker has accumulated a couple of mil, he should be ready to pack up and move at a moments notice. I woiuldn't be surprised to see Carney pop up on more time somewhere.

Good for Hartley.

After that 4-game suspension, I'm sure he was wondering if he still had a job with the Saints. He's lucky that Carney lost his mojo briefly.

Hartley woulda landed somewhere, he didnt miss a FG his rookie season and the suspension was for a no doz type pill
