Agree on this point. Sooner D has played well in every game but one. Stanford has a good running game, but doesn't have the passing threat that Tech had. Luck may or may not play, and I'd wager he won't play much, and if he does probably won't be sharp. Put pressure on their QB, force him to beat you and we'll be in good shape.

If the Sooner offensive minds can get Landry some early success, get the OL to protect him a little, and get the ball to Murray and Broyles and a couple of others, we'll be OK. I've read the Stanford D is not deep. To me, getting early success and running the no-huddle go hand-in-hand and would wear them down. We will need to keep the foot on the gas the entire game to keep the ball out of Gerhart's hands. He is a punishing runner and will break arm tackles.

That's my thinking. I think we win.

The storyline isn't about our O-line.. but it ought to be. Our OL is in a shambles.

I have a feeling Stanford isn't gonna score a lot of points, but we're gonna struggle on offense because they're gonna get easy pressure on Landry.

The posts that we will win by 20 or more are similar to the posts before the BYU game--we were going to kick ***. Stanford has had a month to prepare for us, we have had a month to prepare for Stanford. It should be a relatively low scoring game. OU 24, Stanford 14. The key to the game will be how well Stanford moves the ball early--look for them to try for a play action pass deep early in the first quarter--look for the secondary not to bite and an early pick 6 for OU.
If Luck doesn't play, look for OU to dominate on D but struggle on Offense (with OU I consider 24 points struggling).

I don't think OU ever phones one in. I do think they come out tight and make a lot of mistakes early on. I also think they may underestimate certain aspects of the other team. But I think the players play hard and if we lose it won't be on account of "heart."
