For me, it does help to know that reason, logic and common sense have no place in your relationship with women. At least when they're not making sense you do have the defense of knowing that in this one area of life, things never make sense, don't have to, and... that it is perfectly ok to be illogical in every way.

It sorta brings an internal peace to the chaos and saves you a lot of time because you know there is no use in trying to use logic to figure out what is wrong with them!?? :cool:

I'm not sure I follow. I was saying that, the constant of the stereotypical woman IS unpredictability. (and even that can be boiled down to a more Bacchanalian hedonism impulse...) If, as a reasonable male, one cannot adjust their own affairs, expectations, and efforts in response to that one constant, then perhaps they are not as reasonable a male as may otherwise be suggested.

Reason is the one thing that cannot afford to be sacrificed. We can allow a good enough (but, OH, how good she'll have to be) woman to take away parts of us... our wardrobe, or our old haunts, or even our old ways...

...but as soon as you allow a woman to take, or even cloud, reason, then all is lost for you. You will, at that point, become capable of anything ranging from a spur-of-the-moment-'cause-she-looked-at-the-grocery-bagger-twice wedding proposal to an O.J. Simpson. Nothing is off of the board at that point. And, for sacrificing your reason, I'd say no matter what range of bad happens to you, you probably deserve it. I almost sacrificed mine. I didn't deserve the outcome. It was close. To forsake reason is to forsake individuality. At that point you become one side of the name & name combination instead of remaining yourself.
