Tomorrow night, I plan on proposing to my girlfriend. My stomach is all knotted up and I'm just nervous and ready to get it over with. I know that answer will be "yes", but just getting it over with and having to wait is killing me.

I drove two and a half hours outta my way last weekend to go to her parents house to ask. I had to lie and pretend I was just going to Ardmore, but I managed to keep it under wraps.

And yes they gave me their blessing. :D

From what I know of you and your dad, I'd say this girl is damned lucky to be getting invited into your family.

Just don't ask her all cheesy like. I don't wanna see a banner at the OU game this afternoon, or your mug on the jumbotron or anything like that. Just go "you, me, let's do it." Good luck.

Went and had a nice dinner down at Bricktown, went to the Myriad Gardens and did it in front of a fountain with Christmas lights. Nothing to out of the ordinary, but that's just how we are.
