How the heck Louisiana comes in at #1 is just baffling.

Seriously folks, without the religion of God is on your side and wants you to be wealthy, people are pretty okay with their lot in life. Whatever **** happens, I gotta think that the Thais are one of the more laid back and happy people on this face of the planet.

Just look at the numbers, the Thai economy shrank by 7.09% in the first quarter this year, 4.88% in the second quarter and 2.80% in the third quarter. Guess what the official unemployment numbers didn't budge much beyond 2%.

Thais aren't saddled with the idea that they have to go out and police the world and protect themselves or more to the point their overseas corporate interests from terrorists. There is a lot of home grown variety with a daily death toll from the muslim insurgents in southern Thailand. There is so much corruption and malcontents involved that most Thais realize that this **** is never going to be sorted out, ever. .

Half the state is happy that OU had a bad football season (silly Pokes) and the rest are just happy all of the time... which averages out to about No. 20.

If Texas sucked at football, then they'd be at No. 50-ish.

not to be a debbie downer but this is one area we are SERIOUSLY behind everyone else in. makes me a sad sad sooner indeed. keep these kids in your hearts this christmas season. i can't understand how we are the worse state in the NATION when it comes to child neglect...
