Here is my vote. This is one of the hardest things to narrow down ever! I feel like Ryan Broyles will be a lock for WR on the 2010-2019 All-Decade team, even playing at the beginning of the decade. I put him at KR though. What do yall think?

OFFENSE

I changed this right away haha. Replaced him with RB there. Quick fix.

Nice problem to have - 2 Heisman QBs in the same decade :)

I actually think Broyles is better than Perkins at PR. Perkins got a lot of mileage returning 3 in the same game against a hapless UCLA coverage team. Again, a great problem to have and I have no problem with Perkins. Broyles should know not to straddle decades like that ;)

I'd like to see that defense play in the RRS.

I'll play. Disclaimer, I'm not going position specific at LB, as we have often played our best at the WLB spot. Ditto on the OL, I'm taking one center and the next 4 best guards/tackles!

OU 2000-2009...

Who is your staff?

What offense do you run? :D

scorecarded (heavily slanted towards playing in games that we win)

QB- jason white
RB- renaldo works (wha?)
FB- runnells
TE- lance donley
WR- clayton
WR- peoples
OL - Vince Carter
OL - Brandon Braxton
OL - Duke Robinson
OL - Jammal Brown
OL - Wes Sims

DEFENSE

DE - Dan Cody
DE - Jonathan Jackson
DT - Kory Klein
DT - Dusty Dvoracek
LB - Teddy Lehman
LB - Gayron Allen
LB - Clint Ingram
DB - Derrick Strait
DB - Brandon Everage
DB - Antonio Perkins
DB - Nic Harris

this team was responsible for on average 42 wins while they were at OU. not what you would call the best, but a different viewpoint (the formula is really harsh towards anyone that is an early entrant unless we went undefeated in the regular season the next year).

Instead of Malcolm Kelly, I'd throw Brandon Jones, or more likely Mark Bradley at teh WR position opposite Mark Clayton.

Also, how much credit can you extend to someone? For instance, Michael Thompson was our best cornerback in 2000 as a sophomore, but he was injured in a car wreck and didn't make it back until nearly three years later.

I know it's a vote purely on potential and speculation, but he was our best corner outside of Derrick Strait.

RB- renaldo works (wha?)

His freshman year, heading into the 2000 Texas game, he was OU's leading rusher. Didn't see the ball much after that game.

ok i love sam as much as anybody, and more than most, but id put him 3rd behind heuple and jason white, respectively...

why?

cuz josh did somethig neither one of our heisman's have done. undefeated season and national championship. dude was a flat out winner. and jason white wasnt afraid to leg out yards when the pocket collapsed on him.

its a toss up imo between ad and q at rb.

and no way id pick rufus alexander over torrance marshall. anyone that does needs to go back and watch the aTm game.

His freshman year, heading into the 2000 Texas game, he was OU's leading rusher. Didn't see the ball much after that game.

the wha was that he played for teams with more wins than any other running back. i was expecting kejuan to get that title.
