I don't think he will win the Heisman but he did put up some pretty good numbers versus the Crow . . .

Ingram seems like a real good kid, but in terms of the most outstanding college player, 2nd wasn't close this year to Sou

THERE'S NO CRYING IN FOOTBALL...except in the SEC, with their sponsors Kleenex and Visine.

But, congrats to Ingram, 3 sophs. in a row, and Coltie was a distant 3rd. Hope he doesn't fall victim to the curse, RTR!!!

You can tell it meant a lot to the young man. I don't think he was really expecting it.

Dang, I was kind of hoping for someone else.

History is now on * side.

Heisman Trophy winners are like 1-8 in BCS title games IIRC.

On ESPN comments Horn fans were complaining as usual. Someone complained because Sam won it last year but if there was every proof that Sam was the most important player to the Sooners all you had to do is look at this year.

Wanted to ask Horn fans if they are going to rent a plane to fly over the Rose Bowl for Colt.

It seems that fanbases emulate their coach, which is why we Sooners are so awesome. :D

Before you give Ingraham a hard time for showing his emotions, see if you can find a tape of Steve Owens being named the Heisman winner. He could barely speak for sobbing. No shame in being humbled by an event of that proportion.

Sam won it last year because he was lights out. You can't even begin to compare Sams Heisman year to Colt in 2009. Its not even remotely close.

He's not even within 20 tds and 1000 yds of Sams Heisman performance.

He has more ints though, LOL.

Man, I thought it made for a great moment. He was very clearly suprised. Nothing wrong with tears.

The Heisman people prefer you keep your vote to yourself. Many past winners do just that. Most media people who have a vote do not.

That said, I think Timmah is the type to vote for himself...and he is entitled to. Although, he damn well knows he wasn't the best player in the game this year.

oh, that was almost entirely jest. the Heisman is special, and he seemed really surprised and unprepared

I think Ingram was a Great Representative of his Team and State. He should be proud of being the first winner for Bama and I really hope he puts it to +exas.
