If so, good for him. Neb has been playing around with him anyway.

This will be awkward for Nebraska fans as it would be hard to find a more universally beloved ex-Husker.

It should be easier to recruit to Lawrence than it is to Buffalo.

Turner Gill is a class act.

Welcome back to where football is, well not king but at least it is second place to basketball instead of hockey.

As for ambience, I never heard of anyone vacationing in Lawrence (Buffalo has Niagara Falls, an international border and casinos) and for all you hear about the snow in Western NY, winters in Kansas can be a real b*tch. As for the rest of the seasons, there is no question as to which city comes out ahead.

I wouldn't think he would be concerned about the ambiance at this point in his career. Right now it is about moving up the "prestige" ladder.

I like it. Turner has an unbelievable level of integrity and is a true role model. I have many friends in whose lives Turner played a very formative role as their coach, friend, and mentor.

Turner is a real asset and I'm happy he's back in the Big XII. I really hope he sees lots of success except for twice a year playing OU and NU. :)

It't time to get the big man back to Norman so we win another NC

I agree except for I'd be okay with Turner beating OU on a regular basis.

Congratulations, Turner.

You're a class act and you've earned this shot.

A nice move up for a guy who, by all accounts, is a class act and did a good job at Buffalo. I'm not convinced his coordinators are the best choices, though.
