I asked days ago and no response. I don't think anyone on here knows. Oh well, I'm staying at the Hyatt near the airport. Looked nice. I enjoyed the Hyatt in San Antonio for the Big 12 CG in 2007, so I think it will be ok.

Why would you want to know? Planning on playing practical jokes on the offensive line? Hanging around for some loose change (women) to fall your way? That's about the only reason I can see.

I just based it on past games where quite a few Sooner fans stayed at the team hotel. I just wanted to be around OUr fans. I got nothing though. So I will try to find out where everybody is going after we win.

I never thought I would celebrate a new year on the U.S.-Mexican border, but it is looking like I will be able to add that to my resume.

It's possible OU hasn't signed a contract yet and they don't officially know where they are going to stay.

I think once it's a done-deal, the team hotel will be announced to the press and the fans will eventually hear about it.

Most hate El Paso but for some reason I like it, don't know why. I don't know where the team is staying and don't really care, just as long as they are safe.

I like El Paso too. Nice, friendly people. It is the 2nd safest large city in the country. Just lock your car, and don't go to Juarez.

I stayed @ the Holiday Inn airport last year on biz. It has a crazy mexican night club in it and lets just say you dont need to speak spanish to end up in room 319!

El Paso resident here...Doubletree is "brand new." Recently renovated old hotel but completely gutted and remodeled. Less than a year old. Great views, too.

I really like El Paso. Wide open spaces. Mountains. Interesting south of the border culture.

GREAT food. Pretty senioritas.

I've been wanting to go see the Sooners in the Sun Bowl for years. Now, they finally get there and I can't go.

Sucks to be me.
