There was a team in 2A not too long ago with a girl kicker. We had a girl try out for the team (not kicker, just as a player) when I was a senior (2003). She lasted two practices and quit. Apparently she didn't like getting hit in practice. She should have experienced an actual game. Its ok, she was an outspoken lesbian who mysteriously became pregnant as soon as she graduated by some sketchy dude 30 years older than her. Did I mention that she was a big time feminist? Weird stuff.

Hell, I know of several of my friends' sisters who probably could have been a force on the football team. Why do the mean, tough girls not go out for football? I for one would welcome her if she could knock a dude on his ***.

Chris Wilson is the special teams coach, though of course Stoops has input on all aspects of the team.

I think our kickers, as a whole, have been pretty solid over the past decade. Wouldn't you agree?

Katie was treated like dirt by that neanderthal Barnett and she seemed to do just fine at New Mexico after she transferred. She was just a walk-on nth string kicker and only suited up for home games. Barnett couldn't bring himself to honor the outgoing coaches commitment to Hnida w/o publicly grumbling about it. A potential PR win turned to crap.
