so basically, Stanford runs the ball a lot. Their defense isn't very good. Oklahoma's offense is average. Their defense is good.

not really...They didn't make a whole lot of trips to the redzone, and I think thats a percentage ranking as far as coming away with points

52 times in the endzone..30 TDs, 15 fgs....87 perc...

it can be a misleading stat

Cincy was in the redzone 55 times..and scored 39 TDs...tied with OU in ranking but scored 45 more points in the RZ

Here is one

114th in penalties for OU
23rd for stanford

118th in penalty yards for ou
51st in penalty yards for stanford

OU averaged over 8 yards per penalty...right at 80 yards per game
Stanford averaged a little over 5 per penalty...right at 50 yards per game

Our stats are heavily skewed toward the weak defenses we played. But...
Stanford has a weak defense, so they still apply. :)
