When Blake got injuried his timetable was about 6 weeks before he could return to action. Does anybody know when we can expect his debut I haven't heard anything about his return yet.

Here's an update on Taylor - he was recently sent by the Suns to the Iowa D-League team.

As for Blake, his return has been pushed back to January.

I feel bad for Blake, he couldn't be in a worse situation.

With Blake I read something that said the Clippers are going to be overly cautious with Blake, probably why they pushed it back

I don't mind them being cautious... but overly cautious, that must kill BG to not be able to play.

As for TG, I think the D-League will give him some more opportunities to play. If it doesn't work out, he call fall back on his pre-med degree :D

Word is that Blake may be shut down for the year.

Clippers coach says No. 1 pick won't return until after Jan. 1

LOS ANGELES -- Former Oklahoma basketball star Blake Griffin will be out longer than expected. Los Angeles Clippers coach Mike Dunleavy said Monday that it appears Griffin won't return until after Jan. 1 from the stress fracture in his left knee cap.

Griffin, a power forward selected with the No. 1 pick in the NBA Draft, is scheduled to undergo X-rays in about 10 days. The Los Angeles Times reported that if doctors are satisfied with the results, Griffin could begin graduated weight-bearing exercises on a special machine.

"The final determination, the way I understand it, is a CT scan, which will show how the bone mends," Dunleavy said told the Times. "When that looks like it's really good, that's when he's cleared to do basketball-like activities" that could take up to two weeks before Griffin plays in a game.

"A lot of it depends on him and how he feels once he gets on the court and what he looks like," Dunleavy said.

I drafted him in my pool and this injury has killed my team.

I am not sure though what kind of numbers he is going to post. Kaman is having a monster year and Camby is a 7ft defensive dynamo. Where does Blake fit?

I have him on my Fantasy Team too. Yahoo has him listed as a SF,PF which I think is about right. His ability to post up against smaller 3's or go around slower 4's could cause matchup problems for any team. I'm not sure if Dunleavy is a fan of small ball, but Blake maybe even slide to 5 or a definite 4 if the Clippers ever employ that kind of a lineup.

He'll do just fine when he gets healthy. If he can develop a conistant Mid-Range Jumpshot he'll be an absolute beast in the league.

He was a human highlight reel in the preseason, getting in the face of stars. It isn't a matter of where Blake will fit - it's a matter of how everyone else will fit around Blake.

As long as I mentioned it here last time, I think it's worth noting that Taylor Grffin is back in Phoenix.

Make up your damn mind, Phoenix! And make it up in a way that gets Taylor lots of playing time and money! And TV so we can all watch him!

Steve Kerr said that it was a regular thing to send the guys at the end of the bench down to get some gametime.

So does Tgriff32 get paid as a Sun's bench player or a D-League starter? Is there much of a difference?

I think he gets the same money regardless of where he plays, so long as his Suns contract isn't terminated.

So, as long as they don't release him, they can pass him to their D-League affiliate as much as they want (and I don't think they can do that to veterans - just players with under a certain number of years experience) and T-Griff still gets NBA-like money, not D-League money.

Yeah, he's a paid, signed member of the Phoenix Suns.

Blake's getting a CT Scan next week to determine if and when he can return this season, via ESPN:

As for brother Taylor...

Nothing new since he returned to Phoenix, it looks like. When he was with the Iowa Energy, Griffin started both games he appeared in, averaging 13.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 4.0 steals in 37.0 minutes. Griffin shot 68.8 percent from the field in those contests, both Energy wins.

“I’m just glad that I could help contribute,” Griffin said. “They had a pretty good thing going before I got here.”

I know I could never tell which NBA team the Iowa Energy are affiliated with. ;)
