Looks like Kelly would crawl from Cincy to South Bend for the job. Heck, he's already posted on Twitter about being asked to talk with them.

I think Mr. Harbaugh should see to it that he is at Notre Dame before the end of the month... December 30 at the latest. There is recruiting and NO bowl game to worry about in South Bend, after all. Why wait till 2010 what you can start in 2009?

Yeah, last time a coach left during bowl season it did not work out so well for us now, did it?

Well, With Stoops also doing his homework and interviewing for the ND job, atleast according to the Chicago Sun Times, it might also be distracting. ;)

This.

That was the best team in the country that year and we got stuck playing them after a fluke-like loss

Coming from ESPN Sports Gossip, it means nothing.

NNOOOO! No more coach-left-us-stranded-feel-sorry-for-us-we-band-together bowl game crap! That got us killed last time. I think Harbaugh would be perfect for ND, but man I don't want to play those kids if he left them standing at Stanford.

Let us not forget, though, the WVU debacle, while disconcerting, came after every other team that had a coaching change, LOST their bowl game. WVU is the only school that didn't lose theirs. Unfortunately, we also showed up at far less than full strength and completely unmotivated. Result? A thrashing.

If Jim gets the job....this will be like being on Survivor again.

Now we know why he went for 2 against USC.

So if Bob leeaves before the end of the year we might win a bowl game?

They just interviewed Harbaugh live on the field before the MNF game and he said he was not interviewing for ND, and nothing had been set up at all. He doesn't seem to think of himself as a candidate and he acted like he intended on being back at Stanford next year.

If he gets offered and takes the ND job, Bo will be rolling over in his grave.

Is Harbaugh doing interviews to be a part of Stoops's staff there? ;)
