Hey Gang,

Stanford's QB out for the bowl game. Had surgery on his finger.

Hmm... changes the odds.

Strange but true. We had something go our way!

Dual-threat QB out of the picture, don't know anything about their backup. Gerhart is a beast but now with one less person to really worry about breaking loose a run.

Back up is, I believe, a senior with major experience, including beating USC a coupla years back. Not as much drop-off as you might think. Except that he obviously wasn't as good as Luck or he'd have been the starter.

sounds like their is still a chance he could play.. just not start...

Luck was never gonna be OU's problem Gerhart is the one to worry about. Luck only needs to hand off

We're doomed.

I remember when we caught a break by West Virginia losing their head coach. And playing a mid-major in the Fiesta was a nice break. And only getting 99.9% of Percy Harvin was supposedly a break, too.

Yeah, the one thing I did not want to hear was us getting a break. Remember when we got the break against Arkansas in 1979?

Adios. I have to write grants so I won't have any time to talk here for a long while.

Except this year we are the team without something like 10 starters.

"He's going to be out of practice at least two to three weeks," Stanford coach Jim Harbaugh told ESPN.com's Ted Miller on Monday. "He's not ruled out of the game, but based on what we know right now, he won't start.

"We'll have to see how his finger heals and see what his availability is for the game. It will be a game-week decision," Harbaugh added.

I betcha he plays.

Smells like disinformation to me.

He's going to play. Harbaugh's trying to get an advantage.

Doesn't really matter who plays QB IMO. Our D is one of the best in the country.

The big issue is that we will have to score 14 or more points to win. Doing that outside of Norman is a tough task for our offense.

I forgot about Pritchard.

Need their A-game anyway... hollow victory otherwise.

I have confidence in our D.
