I'd go for an OU/Stanford match-up. Thank goodness there is no chance to face USC ! I think we would match-up well against Stanford's pass defense and would be good to give Landry a confidence builder. But that Stanford power run game is for real; it would be a test.

Why? Their offense sucks. And their defense is full of holes. I 100% more would rather play SUC than Stanford or Oregon State.

Its a moot point about the Beavers. They play in the Sun Bowl last year, so they are out. There is a 3-way tie for 2nd in the PAC10. The holiday bowl said they would pick the winner of usc-arizona, and the Sun Bowl said OSU is out of the question b/c they played last year.

Looks like we get Stanford. I think it will be a good game, but we win:

Just personal - I hate USC. Both teams are down this year, so there would be no braggin' rights to beat them, but would be excruciating to lose to them (for me). I want to beat them when it counts. Stanford is the other team I pull for since I went to grad school there and live within walking distance of the stadium. Wouldn't ruin my day if Stanford won. Don't get me wrong - I'm sooner to the core. Above all, I just want OU to win since the game really doesn't matter much other than a good spring board for next year.

I signed up for either the Alamo or Sun Bowl. I will go to either. I hope we go to the Alamo Bowl, though. We had a lot of fun at the '07 Big 12 CG. Plus, I would love to smack around a Big 10 team. That sounds enjoyable.
