I love Gerald McCoy, but Suh has played "just as good", if not better this season. Its amazing how these two guys have dominated this year.

Put em in a mud pit...throw a ball in....

McCoy drags them both out.

No slight to McCoy because I think he is almost as good, but I've never seen him dominate like Suh.

All Suh had to do was block that fg and I would have stole him the lil bronze...

He is the most dominating d-lineman I have seen in a long time. The last defensive guy I can remember taking a game over like that was THE REAL ROY WILLIAMS. unbelievable ending, I wish there was two more feet ov air under mcoy's throw. Damm

Well, it WAS the longest pass he's thrown all year. It actually travelled more than 10 yards! :D

Will somebody explain to Robert Smith that the Heisman is not a lifetime achievement award?

He just explained that the voters should look at what all McCoy has done over his career, and how his team didn't get to play in the title game last year, and what he did this year was "good enough" to get the vote.

Hey waterhead, the award is considered for what a player has done in the 2009 season. If you want to give a pity award, give it to Bobby Bowden because its his last year.

Bobby Bowden for pity Heisman!!!

Give it to any number of kids who were injured this year and may never get another shot. OR give it to someone like Cory Wilson if it's only about character and NOT about what they did on the field this year.

Suh is the best player in America THIS season. Give him the Heisman.

^^Right freaking here! My Dad said that he was the best DL he's seen since Lee Roy! What's ironic is that the Bucs may end up with him, too. My Top 5:

1. Suh
2. Ingram
3. Gearhart (sp?)
4. Spiller (He nearly put Clemson in the Orange Bowl)
5. The RB for Pitt (Dion something). See #4. He's been doing it all year for an average Pitt team.

Timmah and Pony Boy DO NOT deserve to be in this discussion. Remember, Pony Boy played off his performance against us by being sick. He can't say that against Nebraska. Last year was the "Year of the QB," this year was the "Year of the RB."

I love Gerald and I believe he is at another level from college D Lineman. Suh is at a level above Gerald. The guy is a dominating beast. People that know a lot more than any of us think so as well. Just watch the draft. I loved it when he tossed Colt like a rag doll last night. Huskers offense is an embarassment.

I love Suh but like it's been mentioned I have never seen Gerald dominate a game like Suh does consistently. Last night he was threw Colt around mutliple times. I think Suh should be considered highly but I believe Mark Ingram will win it.

Went your surrounded by guys on Defense like Gerald is...you aren't going to stand out like Suh. I'm not going to say I wouldn't want Suh on my Team...but I wouldn't pass on either of them.

We've watched Gerald dominate his position for a few years now.

Gerald or Suh will never win a Heisman...

They are both great players though.

I think it needs to go to him for having to deal with the Nebraska offense:

He had a great day against a really crappy longwhorn offense.

Sorry guys, Suh proved last night he is by far the best player in college football IMHO.

All I can say is if Colt wins the Heisman when he wasn't even close to being the best player on the field last night. I can't remember the last time I saw a defensive player dominate like that. He was throwing 300 lb linemen like they were ragdolls.

Before the game, my wife reminded me of Suh. He was a beast when we played Nebraska. I think Ingram will win the Heisman but Suh deserves it.
