But this was a CHP drivin this car .(best i can tell from the article)
Why in Hell dint he Just shut the Mother ****er off ? :confused:

Only problem is, when ya shut the ignition switch off you lock the steering and lose power brakes.
Also, CHP was HIT by the car, not driving it.

Also, CHP was HIT by the car, not driving it.I read it that the CHP was driving the loaner that had the sticky mat problem. I'm with OV...turn the car off(not all the way to lock the wheel), or just put the damn thing in neutral.:rolleyes:

The driver didn't understand how to shut the engine off apparently. This car was equipped with a push button starter circuit. To turn it off while in gear you must hold the starter button down several seconds.
