this is a big one out here -- it's about the only sporting event that captivates this state. my wife and her whole family all went to U of O but i am kind of pulling for the underdog (beavers)

at my daughter's school the secretary has a huge inflatable beaver behind the front desk -- yesterday i walk in, look at her and say "nice beaver". good times.

I've been to several games at Fraudzen now, and something that ESpin and other talking heads never mention is that the minute Orygun gets behind or gets in a nail biter, their fans get really quiet, and/or they leave the game. Orygun fans aren't louder or better than other fans despite what ESpin would have us believe. As a matter of fact, they are a bunch of clueless, classless jerks.

Their venue is pretty basic too, and it's definitely on the small side. Don't understand why people get so worked up about it, meh!

I cannot figure out why ESpin loves them so much other than I guess that they are all in Uncle Phil's back pocket!
