we see this every year. we have players that are hyped up pre-season and regardless of how they actually play it carries over into the offseason. the fact that lewis is on either team is proof of this. heck one of the bright spots this saturday was austin box. he made a TON of mistakes and overshot the ball carrier on numerous occasions, but he was taking on blockers and trying to get through them. any time anyone dares block lewis he's shoving them well after the play is over. how he escapes time after time without a flag is beyond me.

Best team will be Neb, and they are ranked #22. Okie State only other ranked team at #20. OU also, which may, and I don't think we win our bowl, may be ranked. Good luck against the SEC winner. That game will show the mettle of the Texas team.

TCU, by the way, has beaten #14 BYU, #25 Utah. I think the world outside Austin would love to see David vs. Goliath matchup of TCU vs. SEC Winner. And, I believe they could win, as anybody can, in a one game playoff.

I hope Lewis and Franks don't see stuff like this and start thinking they are better than what they are. Neither has had the year to seriously think about being drafted early. They would both be lucky to go first day. If they come back and have better years, it will help their cases.
