I'm not really sure what year it was when the whole Sooner Man was jumping off. But I was wondering if that is still going on? Does anyone know?

It's his way of being a Sooner. He got blindsided by Jay Leno once and some folks are still upset that he didn't know what a Sooner is.

I'm betting that 15 minutes of fame got him a bit more educated so that in the future...he'll have some better answers.

At least I hope so.

Are you asking about Sooner man, the guy with the beard and the tail, or Soonermen, the Brothers Under Christ fraternity that dress in capes and such?

Sooner man seems like a nice guy - I used to see him at basketball games giving stickers to kiddos and he's sit near the Ruf/Neks and cheerleaders and yell a lot.

Soonermen are fun too - it's good to see students showing spirit... and they are still around. Boren gave em the honor of holding flags when the team runs out of the tunnel, in addition to the front of the student section seats.

Given the carp in the world around us, you make a great point. They're still like nails on a chalkboard to me, but you and our troops are out there fighting for all of us.

i was kinda wondering about Sooner Man and Boomer Boy... i haven't seen them or heard anything about them in a while

That's pretty cool. I had no idea there was a 'Sooner Man'. But thanks for the info.

I was actually referring to the Soonermen. Just wanted to know what exactly it was that they did. Thanks for all the info.
