I will have to take off of work which pizzes me off, the game is New years eve at 2pm. All of their other possibilities are 6pm or later from what I remember, hopin for the Alamo now.

I think the game is actually at noon. That is what cbssports.com says. And CBS is broadcasting, so ESPN may be wrong.....or right. But probably wrong.

On the bright side, you just get to start pre-drinking that much earlier for New Year's eve. :D

OU definitely should consult the fans before accepting any bowl bid to ensure that it fits in our schedule ;)

Actually El Paso isn't that bad of a drive...well if you like spanish radio stations, I've taken two ways to get down here. Theres the south through lawton, through wichita falls, down through midland and then west from there or you can go through new mexico, I think the route through new mexico is quicker by like an hour depending on where you are in Oklahoma.

i know, i know. we detoured South through El Paso to get to Phoenix for the first Fiesta Bowl fiasco because of I-40 closings. it seemed like it took forever just to get out of Texas

I drove 18 hours to the WVU debacle, horrible mistake. Because of that trip I have decided I will never drive farther than 8 hours...ever

BUT on the plus side.....

:) You can go to The Dentist in Mexico for about 1/6 the price in the USA.....

Just wear a armored vest..... :)

as long as you can split driving it's not that bad

8 hours about the limit of what i like to do by myself. Fiesta Bowl pt. 2 was me going solo and i broke it up into two days and it wasn't all that bad. audio books ftw

oh and green chile cheeseburgers

So if we go to the Alamo Bowl we can avoid those radio stations? I'm in.
