I think we all knew it was coming, just a question of when. It will be interesting to see how quickly they find a replacement and who it is. Time to see if ND is as great of a job as everyone believes it is.

You know what? I hear that PokeU is in desperate need of an OC...

What would CW look like in orange?

I think this is crazy. I can't stand the guy, but Notre Dame played pretty well this year. I certainly would give him another year as long as recruiting looked reasonable.

Except for that whole, pesky November thing.

Stoops said today he has no interest in Notre Dame.

Linky (http://www.tulsaworld.com/sportsextra/OU/article.aspx?subjectid=92&articleid=20091130_92_0_NORMAN161721)

I know that it's the popular thing to think that after Nick Satan bolted from the 'Fins to the Tide rolls that Stoops will do the same, but OU fans know better than the national media.

1- OU fans know that Bob values his family - including elementary-age kids - more than money.

2- OU fans know that Bob's new, big house suggests that he isn't planning uproot himself or his family from Norman any day soon.

3- OU fans know that if any reporters try to knock on his front door and ask him about the Cleveland Browns, the Denver Broncos or the Notre Damers, they can expect a good chewing out.

We know... we're higher-educated :D

Is Butch Davis catholic or does that even matter??? He would be an under the radar hire... and he can win.. bring Mr. John Blake along with him and Norte Dame will be in good shape.

Interesting... When asked about possible candidates, the reporter kind of glossed over Stoops... "Obviously there's interest in Stoops"..... blah, blah, blah.... onto next possibility
