Probably picking nits here - lots of other worthy topics to choose from, but this is one that just bugs me to no end.
ESPN does a GREAT job with their little status bar at the top of the telecast. With it, you know score, down and distance, quarter, time remaining in the quarter and play clock. They also have the little dots indicating the number of time outs each team has left in the half.
Fox can't seem to do that. CBS doesn't seem to do it consistently.
Why is this such a hard thing to do?
