Did anyone notice he didn't have a PF for taunting while having a career high game? Does anyone want to give him props? Did he learn from his leason? The kid is a blessing.... I say let him celebrate!

Broyles deserves nothing but props. Broyles is our offense. Without him, man I don't know what the outcome of this season would be....

I hear that......seems to be only consistent ball catcher Sooners have. Plus all the other stuff he does.....special teams. Broyles for Heisman.

More yardage for Broyles without penalties. I say that's a complete game for him.

Damn he's good.

I'm not sure what the final totals were but at one point I heard it was 308 all-purpose yards.

A Fantastic Day for him and our Team.

I wonder how that game would have turned out if Broyles had been wearing orange instead of crimson. That almost happened you know.

Yep awesome game for Broyles. He is one helluva athlete and is always a big play making threat. I've heard he had 316 all purpose yds and 312, not sure which is correct, but whichever it was is damn impressive.

That being said, I don't change my opinion on his taunting/celebrating during that tech td he had last week. He shouldn't have done that, it was pointless.

It was bad sportsmanship, however...everyone makes mistakes at one time or another. He's by it...and so am I.

316 yards by it.

I, too enjoyed his performance yesterday.....my wife and I hung out by the Switzer Center after the game (in hopes of getting a couple of things signed), and Broyles was very polite to everyone, and signed for everybody....he was very pleasant and well spoken.....Boy is he fun to watch! Question: Is he better than Antonio Perkins???????

I'm sure that he got more from Stoops than just "a stern talking-to" about the PF in the Tech game.

That's one of the things that makes sets Stoops apart from certain other coaches.

He hollers at them and maybe has someone run them thru extra gassers or something like that, maybe even for a long time, but then it's over.

Kudos to young Mr. Broyles and to his coaches.

Great kid. I am proud that he is a Sooner and a fellow Norman Tiger.

Broyles had a great day and hopefully he did learn from last week's penalty; celebration penalties are stupid and too subjective, but unfortunately they are in the rule book and some zebras just want to be a part of the action

Does anyone remember his verbal commit in high school? Anyone? Anyone?

Hint: It was not OU.

Most of his PFs were trash anyway. The zebras are WAY too flag happy, and he is the butt of most of those flags. When he gets to play in the NFL, he will be able to play and celebrate for big bucks without having to pay for the laundry.

As a rule celebration penalty is awful. On both veterans day and senior day there were a couple examples, I forgot the schools involved, were players were flagged for saluting our military members that were on hand after a score. That is so wrong. Those officials should be barred from officiating...FOREVER!!

Yes and no. Broyles is a greater overall athlete than Perkins. But if you are talking about as a punt returner, then no. In 2003, Perkins ran back 3 punts for a TD against UCLA (NCAA record). Then by the end of the season, he had recorded 8 punt returns for TD (NCAA record). The dude had amazing feild vision. Props to Broyles though. Broyles is a bigger playmaker on offense than Perkins was on defense.

How do you all think he will project to the nfl? I see him as a late second round pick. He does not have elite size or speed. He is fast, low 4.4 but he is not as explosive as say a percy harvin or hester. If he does run a high 4.3 then he could sneak into the first round. I do not think he is as good as wes welker, but i could be wrong, he could develop into a great slot reciever.
