The sports animal reported today that notre dame is flying a jet in tomorrow to pick up stoops and fly him to south bend for an interview. It is rumored that the deal is an 8 year 24 mil deal.

yes just think how good our d would be if we actually rotated in different personnel and kept our big boys fresh for the fourth quarter, when in four games one defensive stop would have won us the game. I will say that his play calling was better this year than in most years, but we do have a lot of great players this year. I just think it is stupid to burn a guys redshirt like mcfarland to play three snaps in one ball game. The guy had two sacks on three plays. tell me he wouldnt wear out an o line men in the second and third qtr and have them softened up for a fresh mccoy in the fourth. I was also looking at his full body of work and not just one good year.
