yeah that team that beat us silly last week is down 10-0 to Baylor, and Baylor is driving.

Good. We're assured of a better bowl if Tech loses. I don't put too much faith in the head-to-head comparisons. A&M lit up Tech and gave Texas a good fight, while we destroyed them. OSU beat Tech and look at what we just did to them. It doesn't amount to anything.

I'm still rooting for a Baylor win at the BUTT bowl.

True, I was just pointing out how bipolar the Big 12 is this year.

Speaking of other games... did anyone else catch the Mizzou/KU game? I watched most of the second half and it was as entertaining as any game I've seen this year.

Yea Mizzou/KU was a great game..still can't beleive KU found a way to start 5-0 and not win another game..

What was up with the Mizzou primer gray helmets? I thought there was something wrong with my monitor.

Well, scheduling Northern Colorado and Duke might figure into the equation.

I kinda dig the gray hats. The black fabric on the uniforms seems a bit green to me, though. Might just be a problem with my cones and rods.

huh huh huh...

If Baylor beats Tech, does that move OU up one bowl invite?

to be fair we were Tech's bowl game...and they're not playing on the Injury Trap they call a stadium.

True.

I'm not sure I like the current neutral site movement. I think it cheapens the traditional neutral feuds, and doesn't do anyone but Jerry good to keep it escalating.

I'm also thinking the tax revenues lost to the cities hosting the new games will end the trend soon.

The same argument could be given to OU/Texas, and I really have no argument for it other than that it is such a time-honored tradition.

I could see several "jerry worlds" popping up around the country to host regional college football games.

I was listening to the end of the game on the radio...Mike Leach had the best comment during his post-game interview.

He was asked what he thought of Cowboy Stadium. He said throughout the game he was looking for George and Jane Jetson to come flying by...

it's strange...and perhaps I'm in the minority...but I like the sanctity of OU/texas being in Dallas, UGa/TebowU being in Jacksonville, Navy/army being in Philly or occasionally DC.

I can understand Jerry wanting a game between a Texas school and Arkie at Jerryworld because of him being an alum.

That being said, I have no use for nonsense like ND/Wazzu in San Antonio as nothing more than a recruiting tool for ND.

Those looked good.

Best pro combat yet.

I realize that someone in the conference has to finish last. But does it always have to be the same team?
