OSU was probably better in 2002 and 2003 than this season as well. They got the benefit of a pretty easy schedule this year.

An OSU win over OU in football is a lot like a total eclipse of the sun. It happens about as often, and when it does happen it's believed to be a sign of the end of the world.

Today's game makes me remember why I'm a Sooner. Not just because we beat the chokes, heck, we do that regularly in this lopsided series. It's because no matter how bad things may seem, everything is put in perspective when you realize that even at our youthful, inexperienced, and injury devastated worst, we are still better than an osu team having a season for the ages in their little world.
We have all ragged on Landry at times this season but he just accomplished something Zac Robinson couldn't do in 4 years...he just won bedlam!

It was kinda cute seeing the poor little chokes full of false confidence leading up to this game. They should know by now that when they are at their very best, they are not a shadow of OU. At least now their little fantasy of a BCS bowl is shot down and reality will now place it's firm grip upon them.

BOOMER SOONER!!!!!!!!

Definitely not their best team ever. I'd wager the 88 team, the 03 team and 08 are better, easily. I'm sure I'm forgetting a couple that were better.

P.S. Sorry.. but somebody had to say it. And you just had to be there in the south end zone of the 1984 OU/OSU game when some drunk Sooner fan made this brilliant observation at the end of the game.
