Texas player hurt pretty bad. Looked like a solid concussion. Dude just went limp and fell to the ground. I hope he is ok.

I hope he is okay too. I hate seeing any college football player get seriously hurt and I don't care what team is plays for. It's just a game.

Probably the best effort by A&M all season. But A&M's offense has been good at times this year. Their D has given up 42 of the 49 UT has scored, so still not great, but they've impressed at keeping this closer than I thought it would be.

Gotta Say - Loved "The FIRE" A&M played with tonight - too bad it was for a Loss.... :(

We played a heck of an offensive game ... made the Texas defense look silly. We are just bad on defense still ... have a ton of work to do there.

K.O. return for the TD was a killer .... but we had so many chances but had a few to many mistakes ... Michael's unforced fumble .. the INT in the endzone that cost us a chance for at least 3 .... just a few to many mistakes.

Yeah, thats when it looked like the ball game. Aggie had a chance until then, the missed field goal was brutal...shades of Sooner kicking game 2009.

So how does UTerus feel about going into next year with no Colt, no Shipley and TAM with the best qb in the league now (IMO)?

Aggie might have given Tejas fits, but wow are they melting down over at their board. Check it out for all the humor you won't find here:

They had their chances. The fumble really hurt their momentum. The Texas Defense was out of position and the secondary got torched.

Although I think that Jerrod Johnson is a better passing QB than Alabama's and has more targets than Tebow.

This is the reason why Aggies actually have a reason to be upset. The way Jerrod played tonight made him look like A&M had every chance of winning this game. This wasn't the same team that lost 65-21 (or so) in Norman.

Whorns defense and (lack of) strength of schedule was exposed. Whorns will get throttled if they make to the MNC game.

This was very similar to the 2005 game at Kyle Field. We were favored by dozens of points and aggy made Vince look bad. Finally won by 11 points and I think it refocused them. Our defense was getting to much glowing praise from the press. They needed this game to bring them back to earth. They are still just 19 and 20 yr old kids after all. This will help them.

I sure hope not.

Think Muschamp will have his "D" doing a bit "extra" in practice this week?

I actually kinda feel bad for Nebraska's offense next week ... they're in for a rough time of it. ;)

Dont feel sorry for them. The best D on the field that night will belong to NU. Suh will make glue of Clot.

The problem with Nebraska is not their defense ... obviously .... it's that they have a horrid offense. Suh and company very well could have a great game against Colt and company ... they can do things on "D" my Aggies can only dare to dream of .... but still lose because their offense is so bad they may give up more points than they score. Texas will tee off on the Husker "O."

Where Texas could be in trouble is against a defense with real speed that is teamed with an offense that can exploit some weaknesses in the Horns defense. Florida can do that. With all the hype of Muschamp and the Horn defense ... Florida and Bama have done just as much and maybe more than them ... and both will have more playmakers on offense than Nebraska. Florida and Meyer could really expose some things that A&M showed this past Thursday.

I hope so. Reportedly at halftime at Baylor, with us up 20-0, he went into the defense meeting and slammed his clipboard onto the floor and didn't let up the whole halftime. I cannot imagine how he will react to last night. Reporters said he was in a sort of daze after the game. I think the defense will be ready.

Crucifax Autumn

Or maybe he'll stay in the daze and all will become right with the world.
