He's a poke, so he's probably full of ****. However if this is true, cheap tickets = lots of tickets for sale = lots of OU fans not going to the game.

Instead of scrambling to find tickets for this weeks Bedlam game, many of the fans we spoke with are trying to get rid of them.

I bet NP and I could scalp cheaper ones in Norman.

And to think - a few months ago we were debating getting season tix just to make sure we didn't pay the same price for Bedl@m tix that we did for the Tech game last year ($125 each for endzone seats). Scalpers were charging insane prices that day - $300 each for nosebleed seats! I think made a scalper angry that day because he though I was laughing at his prices (I might have smiled a little).

Anyway, I don't fault anyone for selling tix. I won't mess with your money.

If the kids are young suggest to your son and ex son in law take them over to the locker room after the game to get autographs. It pretty cool to watch - Most of the players are great.

We'll be fine. I figure people are just trying to break even on their tickets when they realize they can't afford them. I don't believe it is that OSU fans can suddenly appear to afford them better than we can... probably more like they are willing to spend more to watch the game live.

Sad, but true.

We, as fans, tend not to accept the mediocre. It has been proven across history of OU's past. I don't necessarily think it is a bad thing.

I seem to remember us losing to Mississippi in Shreveport 25-27. We were all ELATED that we just made it to a bowl. These things are very cyclical. I have no doubt we'll be back within 2 years.

We've just got used to being at the top again. It simply won't happen that way every year for us no matter how much we'd like it.

I can't blame people for trying to sell tickets. It's close to Christmas, it's gonna be colder than a well digger's arse, and we're 6-6. Not a whole lot to get excited about for Joe OU Fan. While we'd like every fan in that stadium to be die hard, Crimson and Cream-decorated-bathroom kind of people, some are just casual fans, and the casual fans are boning out on us. I don't blame them one bit.

If I lived a little closer to Norman than Germany, I would be there desperately screaming for this team to please not lose to OSU.

But, on the other hand, last week I saw the team quit on the fans and the state, so if the fans quite on them -- I'm not blaming anybody.

Those players will have to reap what they sew.

If they want the glory heaped on them, they'd better make an effort to earn it.

Mind you, I'm not saying this in regards to a 6-5 record, I am saying it regards to a team of quitters.

Full stadium, empty student section.

I've often wondered why our student's are so apathetic. It is really noticeable when traveling to road games...the other team's students usually are quite loud and organized.

Ok, I know we have done just fine without them, but still curious.

I think a lot of it has to do with these kids not thinking it's "cool" to get excited about the game. I sneak down there every once in a while since my seats are so close and all I hear are their plans after the game, the gossip from the latest frat party, etc. Plus, half of them are too drunk to be organized about much of anything besides where to get the next Pocket Shot.[
