I couldn't image what the older players and coaches think. They probably thank God that the internet wasn't around back then.

The messageboards during the Blake Era were pretty slow. Due to the relative popularity of the internet.

A lot of it was DeMond Parker talk. A lot of it was offensive philosophy, wishbone, whatever, talk. And of course a good helping of Fire Blake!

I had no idea there were Sooner message boards in the 90's. I'm glad I wasn't on them, I would have probably been arrested.

Sooner Legends Hotel Bar and Restaurant is now the officials sponsor of the Sooner Football message board.

I remember a lot of "This past game/season wasn't what we wanted, but I saw signs of turning the corner. For sure, next game/season we're finally going to be great, like in the old times."

Until Stoops fields 14 men at the same time on one play... I'll give him a rebuilding year every five years or so.

Keep in mind lesser coaches might be 0-11 right now given all the injuries this year.

Blake to Notre Dame threads everywhere

Which were succeeded by "Mark Mangino is a big fat meanie" threads everywhere, which were succeeded by "Landry Jones must go" threads everywhere, which will soon be succeeded by "Is it offseason yet?" threads everywhere.

For the record, Stoops isn't going to ND, Urban Oscar Meyer Weiner Mobile, Alabama is.

Mark Mangino is a big fat meanie, but virtually every college football coach is a meanie, and most end up big and fat by the time they retire.

Landry Jones must go... grow his stache back. It's like Samson's hair. Cut it and he loses his strength. If he has his stache this Saturday, beware, Pokes. Be afraid.

It is not offseason yet and it won't be till January. BOWL TRIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
