When Tech went up 10-6 with 4 minutes to go in the first half I decided it was time to play with the kids instead. I wasn't mad -- I just knew 100% that this game was over. It felt the same as watching OU kick field goal after field goal against Nebraska and knowing T. Way would miss all of them. You can read this team like a book and I don't mean play calling. I mean heart, confidence, will to win--whatever.

There's always next year, but we have been saying that since 2003.

I picked it up from a converstion I overheard in section 103--which I might add is the "NO STANDING" section of the stadium. Just try it---you'll be asked to sit.

I too wrote that Tt game off pretty quickly. I kept watching, but I had other things going on in the house and was determned not to ruin my day by cursing at the TV.

Left the game in the third quarter. And it was my first time (and maybe only time) to ever have a field pass. I had had enough. No ESP involved at that point, but I wanted to move on with the day and have a nice weekend.

I was sick as a dog but woke up to watch OUr game. Turned it off at HT 'cause I knew it was over & went back to sleep. :(

Your ESP kicked in a bit earlier than mine. I knew it was over when the score hit 17-6. Fortunately, I had a Thanksgiving party to go to after halftime, so I didn't let it ruin my day, either.

a-hah!

It wasn't the team that quit - it was the FANS!

I left for the C.C. at the 17-6 point. First time in many years that I didn't watch the whole game. I stayed for the whole K-state game, watched the entire SUC game, but for some reason I decided not to finish Saturday, maybe I quit on them. I felt dirty, but it was a beautiful day at the golf course.

I watched the entire torturous 60 mins. However I trashed the recording from my DVR without watching any replays. That's a 1st in the 11 years of renting that technology. Blake's last season doesn't count. I wish. Damn Raiders have a long memory for a bunch of drunken Sand Aggies.

We you, by any chance, sitting near the tunnel between section 102 and 103?

I bailed at half as well for a bike ride. I still skimmed the 2nd half on TIVO praying for something good to see in the ruins. As far as ESP, I thought could turn out like the TT-NU game since NU depends on a scrappy D to hang in there and keep it close until the 4th qtr. NU got whipped 31-10 by TT because that tactic doesn't work well against Tech. They move the ball on anyone, especially early in the game and it is up to the offense to possess the ball and counter-punch with at least some scoring to win. I was hoping our offense would hang in there and help the D for a change, but alas, it wasn't happening.

first drive by TT, i felt it was over. i was at work, but had thegame on - didn't pay too much attention to it after the 5 minute mark in the 1st quarter.

Yup, 10-6 was when I turned off the TeeVee and went outside for the afternoon. Just wasn't worth the aggravation to watch the inevitable.

Sadly I've been feeling that way for awhile too. Made me wonder what is the largest deficit a Stoops-coached OU team has overcome to win.

No crap I get asked 50 times a game to sit, pisses me off!!!

I knew the game was over early, but I watch the whole thing! It looks like the defence has nothing to play for or we suck balls out of the state of OKLAHOMA? I just hope that all the Juniors on the D dont enter the Draft or this could be a sign of things to come?? :(
