This game is going to be crap. Nebraska - Kstate is where its at. I picked K-State winning this so hopefully they do.

Yup 16 and we had a terrible 5 turnovers and the game was still close. Either the Gators or Bama will blow them out. Mccoy and Shipley will get knocked around all game. People try to say the Whorns plays to their competition which is idiotic to say who wouldn't want to be up 21 in the 1st quarter if you can be.

Texas running the hurry up with six minutes left in the 4th to run up the score. Would love to hear the 'horn logic after they criticized OU for scoring late in games last year.

1) Don't chance anything with the BCS and computers. If it is more impressive to score more do so, let others talk about your character while you are winning.

2) Senior day. The most unheralded recruiting class in Mack Brown's tenure yeilding the best results. Let them have a little extra cake on during the last home game.

Thanks, you just made our point. Last year, every whorn blasted us for running up the score, not taking out starters, etc. I am not even blasting your team tonight. I am just saying its different when you are in that position. Texas fans criticized us for the same reason late last season. This season, you all are defending your team for the same reasons.

Next time take a minute and pause to think about the situation before you auto-blast the team you hate.

Agreed. I remember, it was the last couple of times that Kansas came to Norman, we had a big lead but Stoops went ahead and ordered a long pass seeking to bolster the score for the BCS computers. (That was when margin of victory still counted.) He apologized profusely to his good friend Mangino, and clearly felt guilty about it later.

Mangino was completely gracious and could not have been less offended.

Yes. When the bull**** BCS is involved you are resorted to doing things that you do not really want to do, but kind of have to do just to impress the voters. Its stupid. I don't like it any more than the teams we play, but if a team doesn't put up big numbers, stupid pollsters who don't watch the game will judge it negatively. OU and Texas get judged b/c the the BCS is a fraud. End of story.

Over and out, but I didn't blast OU last year for that. I blasted the big 12 for their tie breaker rule not being like all other conferences, head to head determines the winner.

That's why Texas had 3 receivers with 6+ catches, 86+ yards, and 1 or 2 TDs?

You have to blanket Shipley AND pressure Colt McCoy in the pocket (so that he defaults to Shipley instead of having time to see that other guys are open) and ALSO either prevent him from scrambling or force him to fumble when he does.

OU did all three of those, and Alabama and Florida (and even TCU and Nebraska) are certainly capable of all three, but it's far from certain.
