LSU didnt convert a two point conversion with 1:17 left, but they then get an onside kick and have the ball at their own 40 to try and win now. and now theyre in FG range after a some terrible Ole Miss tackling.

or at least tried to run a play to throw it to the endzon. obviously the FG was not gonna happen. they could have at least tried a pass from the 10.

Even my 10 yr old son said they should have tried to score a TD instead of spiking the ball.

I told all the LSU fans at work they were going to regret hiring Miles.

Les Miles gets his just rewards after escaping all those close ones in spite of bone-headed moves.

I love laughing at Les, but I think it was the QB's bonehead move. Afterward, it looked like Les asked him what the **** he was thinking, hehe. I laughed so hard. Les was too dumb to have his FG unit ready, but his QB was too dumb to know you couldn't spike it with 0.01 left, LOL.

Did you guys see the ref hit the Ole Miss defender in the crotch with his flag when he was calling the pass interference penalty? The guy doubled over, fell to the ground and had to miss the next play.

I think it was Lester who called the spike.

I am sure LSU message boards are lighting up more than ours right now over this. Les Miles, as stipulated in his contract, must be the highest-paid coach in the SEC. Also, they just completed a huge football facility renovation project that cost a lot. Finally, it's LSU. Lester has just become the Tigah Bait.

Hopefully, LSU would be one of my favorite teams but for Lester being there.

Les is getting ripped over this down here in Tigah country, and rightly so. His generally poor game-management was already recognized, but this incident was the stupidest ever - a screw-up of colossal proportion in IMAX 3-D . And he's making it worse by failing to confess that he was totally unprepared and clueless at the end of the game. He has tried to vaguely deny that he ordered a spike, even though the TV plainly shows him making a spike signal. I don't think Les can even believe how dumb he really is. It's almost Karmic after all the dumb luck he has had. You just can't keep stupid down! LSU fans have seen the behind the curtain and they know there's not a wizard back there. It makes one appreciate Bob all the more.

Yep, the only thing that made Saturday bearable was the end of that game. I'll give LSU credit for one thing, they got whipped every which way in that game, but if you give them a chance to win in the end their players are going to find a way. Good thing their coach is a moron.

LSU has a lot going for it that would make it easy for a new coach to step in and succeed.

1- Big fanbase
2- Good facilities
3- Easy to recruit in Texas

Of course, these are the same things that Texas A&M has going for it... :rcmad:
