10. Sooner merchandise will be on sale before Christmas.
9. Don't have to worry about Bob Stoops leaving.
8. Those on season ticket waiting lists have renewed hope.
7. We found a field goal kicker!
6. Offense doesn't have to feel guilty; defense played just as bad.
5. At least we scored a touchdown!
4. We won't have to lose another BCS game!
3. We might get a bowl game opponent we can beat. (if we are in a bowl)
2. We looked good in our uniforms.
1. We don't have to look back on another gut wrenching narrow loss--Tech kicked our butts!

11. With those uniforms, I could pretend that it really wasn't the Sooners on the field.

The uniforms suck, by the way.

That's just sad. A Mighty Sooner would still have a Bowl Game on his list IMO.

We're going to a bowl, so I don't know why people keep acting like that is up in the air. Even if we lose next week we are going bowling.

We looked too much like Tejas but played too much like Southwestern (OK).

Great list by the way.

Maybe just maybe this season will get Bob Stoops' attention.

Better late than never I always say.

One other good thing about this season is we can now let poor John Blake and his hapless coaching regime get a much deserved break. Now when the pumpers want to draw a contrast between a less than stellar coaching performance and a bad one they won't have to go all the way back to the 90's and drag up poor John.....they simply have to point out this year. That will be cool for all the pumpers who hadn't gone through puberty when Blake was coaching.

Yup, one of the few goals I have left for this team this year is for McCoy to make it through unscathed so he can go get paid.

Crimson glasses have been fogged up when it comes to bad Coaching IMO.

We are using what depth we had up. I sure hope we are injury free next year so you can see what a difference it makes.

I don't know about that. I went to several SWOSU games this year and they didn't look always look as bad as the Sooners looked today.

17) I had to work today and thus was spared the angst of watching another embarassing loss. Plus, I called home and had the dvr stopped so as to not waste electricity in such a foul manner.

# 18. The "hurt" when we lose just does not "hurt" as much. It hurts but nothing
like the hurt when we lose the "one" game in the season. It was day time here and rather warm so I went out washed the car and listened to a few olders and said howdy to folks who passed by. Not like " DO NOT TALK TO BE LEAVE ME ALONE" kind of sweet really and peaceful.

Ah, yes, let's succomb to acceptance. Much more peaceful. Wish I had done this after BYU and saved myself a lot of distress.

Oh, well, there's always next y..... well, there's something.

i disagree. had blake's teams had this many injuries (assuming he produced multiple all-americans), we would've lost every game and wouldn't have put more than 3 points up each game. we may have quit a bit yesterday, but blake's teams quit before the season started.

#19 - We are not the pokes...

#20 - We are not Texas...

#21 - We dont have to sneak into the big 12 title game and have the horns crying foul.

#22 - Did we mention no upsetting BCS loss...

#23 - We don't have to worry about getting some of our great assistant coaches snatched up.

#24 - No distracting awards shows...
