And this is why they are "Oklahoma State". They have an experienced and stable senior heavy team and the Sooners have been hurt by injuries and inconsistent play. You'd figure the aggs would be falling all over themselves to be there in case they make it a whopping three wins this decade.

I would argue that they have had better chances... but those "better" chances have all been in Stillwater under head coach Gundy (as opposed to OC Gundy, where he won twice).

In Norman, the last few have been extremely lopsided. 49-17, 42-14, 52-9.

In Stillwater, the games have been closer and a required a lot of nail biting... 61-41 (quite a bit closer than the score suggests, as I'm sure you all recall), 27-21 (dropped pass in endzone as time expired), 38-35 (missed FG as Dusty D jawed at the nervous kicker, hehe).

As such, OSU may claim that they don't wanna give OU their money or that those fair weather fan cheatin' gooners are just annoying to be around, but the truth is that they have never competed with us in Norman since 2001... and that was one Stoops' two flukes. TWO!

Funny thing about most Ags I have ever been around,they usually don't have much to say BEFORE the game BUT if they do win they get diarrhea of the mouth.I used to live in Ponca and the Cowpukes would crawl out the woodwork when they won.If (as most often) we beat them handily,the color orange would disappear for a couple weeks.

When we whipped them 52-9 a supervisor of mine who used to dress head to toe in orange(looked lijke a slightly smaller version of Robert Allen) suddenly misplaced his orange wardrobe for at least a month.

I have found that they are rather mouthy today. You would think a come-from-behind win over the worst team in the conference at home would produce a different result, but most of the orange-clad goobers are actually cocky about the trip to Norman. I am guessing most of them are not actually going as evidenced by the lack of tickets sold.

And, you can't reason with them. So, don't even waste your breathe.

This post on another board produced a response from a poke that went something like "why should we buy tickets in the bad sections when we can buy them from OU fans in better sections?" Unfortunately, it made some sense. So, if you are selling to poke fans, shame on you.
