My brother in law came home last night from the game claiming foul and a "helmet-to-helmet" hit.

I think there should be no such thing when it is a designed qb run or when the qb runs off with it. This hit isn't anything any RB hasn't ever seen.

But anyway, glad to see them both get up. Very scary moment.

The defender kind of froze and Robinson ducked his head, there was no head hunter intent and certainly no foul. It was just something that can happen in a high speed situation like that.

Good no call.

Agreed. If they throw a flag on that, they have to start flagged the ball-carrier for ducking their head as well. No call was the right call. Just a tough football play.

I guarantee Pony boy would've gotten a flag thrown against an opponent there.

scary hit, but i admit...i laughed when wall hit the ground and his arms just kind of went straight up in the air. methinks he was out cold for at least a second or two.

There isn't anything in the rulebook that says that play deserved a flag.

that was a clean and awesome hit....a little FYI I played against Jamar Wall in high school....he was a badass running back from Plainview pretty sure he led the state in TD's and yards....

Aggie was in the building and he ordered drinks. But the eventual O-State victory suggests he decided he'd rather have a full meal some other time.

I bet he dines in Norman in a couple of weeks.

Good no call.

But what a hit! Hope he's OK. Want the Pokes A-game in two weeks... no excuses.

Yep but sometimes refs can get caught up in the popping noise the hit makes, the roar from the crowd, and the aesthetics of the home crowd's qb laying motionless on the ground
