Could it be time? The meltdown in South Bend must be glorious!:D

Depends....

Digital or analog? And the price could be an issue. He isn't doing well and not too many domers would buy a watch with his face on it.

Sorry...I'm a smart*** sometimes. :)

I keep thinking that people who hate ND should start a "Keep Charlie in South Bend" site or fund.

If or when he is sent packing, who might the domers get to replace him?

I think the next hot young coach the high profile teams (in need of a coach, that is) will be interviewing is the Florida defensive coordinator.

There are national sport goobers that think that is the one job Stoops would take, and others who think they would get Meyer and then the Fla job is the only job Bob would take.

Seriously, I heard a few different versions of this scenario last week.:D

I'm sure that Weis will be the next ESPN college football talking head. He, Lou, and Bob Davie can start a band together.

Has someone put a "For Sale" sign in front of his house yet?

You mean like what happened to Gary Gibbs? Maybe they'll follow up with Howard Smells-of-bourbon, too.

Now, now fellow Sooner fans... do you think that Bob putting Patty O'IAMIRISHLOL in to kick field goals is just mere coincidence?! He is already THINKING Irish! That definitely means he's leaving. After all, nobody turns down Notre Dame, hurr hurr

After the OU-Tulsa game several years ago when Davie showed up in the booth drunker then a skunk talking on and on about ND, I am surprised he is still at ESPN.

Bob Davie WAS Gary Gibbs, and Ty Willingham WAS Smells-of-bourbon. Looks like Charlie Weis is their John Blake.

So I guess they are due for their Bob Stoops, which hopefully won't be our Bob Stoops.

Maybe Mark Stoops?

The odds are better that ND brings Bob Davie back than them hiring Charlie Strong.

They've been burned by 2 of their last 3 hires not having any head coaching experience prior to taking over there, and the other guy we're all scratching our heads at how he had any good years at Stanford. The question is will they be stuck with their 3rd, 4th, 7th, 10th choice for head coach again?

Sometimes the right coach falls in your lap, like USC and Carroll. He was the 4th choice behind Dennis Erickson, Mike Bellotti and Mike Riley.

I'm thinking it might be Dan Cocanouer presently at SWOSU.
