OU - 95
Mt Saint Marys - 71

Nice game. Close at points, but solid rebounding and free throw shooting on our part helped us pull away.

I think I'm going to really love this team...I see the leadership in Warren and I love how we had 5 players score in double digits (4 of which were FRESHMEN). 2 players with Double-Doubles. I love the balance. Exciting team coach has put together.

The freshman were the only bright spots. Luckily we have four of them. Pledger didn't even play half the game and scored 21 points. That's exciting.

I like Gallon's 18 and 15 in 22 minutes.

Warren was amazing. He'll be the top point taken in the draft next year. He could have had 30 if he wanted to today.

Warren was trying too hard at times. He'll get used to his role and the fact that there are other shooters now.

Agreed he forced some things at times. I think he needs to take the Chris Paul approach and let the game come to him, take what is given. He doesn't need to drop 25 a night for the scouts to know what he can do. Sometimes I got the feeling he was looking to pad the stat line, but towards the end he was making some great dishes. He can be a killer penetrate and dish guy.

To go along with 15 points I think. That is called getting a double-double the hard way.

Also, it was OU's 1,499th win. The Sooners are 29th in total wins among D1 schools . . .
