I have a friend in Tulsa who is coming to the game today with her boyfriend. What time would you basterds leave Tulsa to make it here before kickoff?

FYI, I've been trying to tell them they're nuts for waiting until 3:00 to leave Tulsa.

If they leave at three they can be there with an hour to spare, BUT traffic on game day is something we all know about. I'd leave at two o'clock.

Not that I make that drive that much but I agree, they're nuts. I'd leave no later than 12, but that's me... I like the whole game day thing so if I get there early, great. If I get there late, such as I think someone leaving at 3 would do, that would ruin my day.

Well, yeah. If it was ME, I would have left at 10:30 and had plenty of time to tailgate.

I'm not sure about Tulsa...........but,
from Tampa, leaving at 3 sounds about right......
on Wednesday.

We could leave at 4 and make it. The key is don't come down 35, go down Sooner Road, park about 1 mile east of the stadium. 2-2 1/2 hours is all you need. Did it for the 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2007 seasons.
