Cheers to RR / Jeers to Sooner Radio Network

Did you catch the post-game interview with Ryan last week? The interviewer asked Ryan several times if there was any animosity of the defense towards the offense. "The defense is playing at such a high level and with the offense struggling, how do you guys feel about that?" To Ryan's credit, he showed extreme composure and maturity by simply stating that "we are team and we build up each other".

It's not like this team needs a locker room controversary. Again, this week, the Oklahoman tried to stir the pot with a similar slant to an article.

It's really disappointing to see the news media attempting to divide this team. Not that they have to be sunshine pumpers, but to stir a pot that doesn't need agitation is shameful.

Kudos to Ryan and the rest of the kids wearing Crimson today for holding the line.

The Oklahoman definitely sucks but I don't think Reynolds was being completely forthcoming either. Credit to him for that but there's no way the defense isn't feeling a little slighted for everything they've done this season. And they've done a lot....

This aspect is probably the most galling thing about this season. Our D is playing championship caliber defense, and the offense can't find their arse with both hands and a flashlight. We can't seem to get both sides to fire at the same time. Last year we had a great offense and a not-so-great defense. Next year looks like we might have the same, depending on who comes out early and who stays on D.

Did they ask these questions to the offensive players last year?

I'm impressed with Ryan's composure. Shows a lot of maturity... glad he's one of the leaders of the defense.

More impressed with the fact that this kid is playing at such a high level after three knee surgeries.
