I really think Baylor can take Texas this year at home.

A victory would be very sweet as a Baylor and OU fan. Regardless of the result, I have to love Baylor's focus on honoring the soldiers at Ft. Hood.

Baylor University will honor Fort Hood soldiers and their families, as well as Senior Sgt. Mark Todd, the civilian police officer credited as a hero during last week's tragedy at Fort Hood, during the Baylor-Texas football game at 11 a.m. Saturday at Floyd Casey Stadium. The game will be nationally televised on FOX Sports Network (FSN).

Baylor has provided 1,000 tickets to Fort Hood for service personnel and their families to attend the game. Soldiers and their families will be seated in Section L on the east side of the stadium.

Before the game begins, Sgt. Todd is scheduled to participate in the coin toss at midfield. Todd and all Fort Hood guests of Baylor will be honored at the game's first timeout. Todd will be on the field at the north 20-yard line.

In addition, Baylor players will wear a decal featuring the Fort Hood insignia on their helmets beginning with this game and throughout the rest of the season.

It would be beautiful, and this is a wonderful gesture.

But a Baylor win isn't going to happen.

Thanks for posting this Chuck.

I have an eerily good-feeling about the game. I don't want to jinx it, but I'm feeling pretty positive at the moment.

You must be hammered. Baylor peeps are supposed to say, "I been to communion".

40-0 UT at the half. Baylor's second half comeback to win will be the stuff of legends.

I think Texas* could've easily won it by this much without McCoy.
