hoping to hear something on the way to the game on Saturday.
We'd appreciate your good thoughts, karma, cosmic consciousness, etc, etc.

Hills and trees man, hills and trees.
The more time I spend here, the more I think I wouldn't mind putting down some roots in B'ham. Sure, the mayor's in jail and the roads suck, but it sure is pretty around here.

Very nice, one of my best collectors lived on Troost. They moved to Atlanta a few years ago.
We've got a family friend that lives on the next street west.

It has a big basement, only accessible from inside the house. Thus, virtually unlimited corpse storage.;)

If my kid was school age, she would have a one block walk to Cascia Hall from this house.
The joint was built in 1925. The old lady who last lived in it died in '06. After that, a guy bought it to renovate and flip. That project was completed in 2008 (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, exterior, interior, etc.) when he put it on the market for over a half million at the time the mortgage bubble burst. Of course, since money got tight in '08, he didn't sell it. Asking price was finally reduced to a price normal humans could afford in August of this year, and we found it last week.
