Ben Habern double teams number 94 when the best DE in the nation is right next to him.

Likely responses:

a) "They're just kids having fun!"

b) "That was the coaches' fault!"

c) "You're an idiot!"

Other than Suh being a DT, this is right. I think Habern has been the biggest disappointment this year on the OL. Fortunately, he's just a RS Fr... and I seem to remember Vince Carter playing a bit better than he did after just a year.

Patience, my friend.

Who is that guy on defense, that No. 93? Oh, I remember! He's the one that injured himself in the fourth quarter, so they had to stop the game! He must have been really hurt, because he stayed out an entire play. I also noticed that a teammate of his wasn't going to get off the field in time unless this No. 93 was injured and the refs whistled to stop the game, so I guess it worked out for No. 93's team pretty well, not getting a penalty or anything.

I hope No. 93 has a full recovery from his injury... whoever he is.

Yeah, and he was really on top of things when one of our players was playing after the whistle. He waved his arms to the referee to help out! It's too bad mr. ref threw a flag because he misunderstood. Oh well! No good deed goes unpunished!

Considering Nebraska was ahead and time was running out on us, I doubt any of the Nebraska players or staff wanted the clock to stop for any reason.

Well, I take it all back: it sounds like Mr. Suh is just a big cheater. We would have definitely won if he hadn't been cheating so much!

Our o-line is completely awesome!!

Nice pocket awareness Landry.

Looks like a step or two to his left would have bought him some time, you know like if he stood infront of the guy being unnecessarily double teamed.

I just have to prove that I'm not post padding every once in awhile by putting a little more effort and a little less wordswordswordswords in da posts, yknow?

In any event, before someone calls me out on spousal abuse, let me just say that we have a very comfy couch. NP should know - he sleeps on it allllll of the time. Thingie, thingie, thingie :P

Hard to blame Landry on that one. It's not normal for your own OL guy to come at you backwards as fast as an unblocked blitzer. (I've seen Suh do this to everyones line)

In relation to the video on the thred, that was pretty amazing by Suh. Kept pushing Jones back like he was on roller skates on that one. Wish we had a guy on the O-line that could do the same.

Jones definitely doesn't have the build of a typical guard!

We should get a sh*t load of recruits after this years performance. Hey, I can play as a freshman for OU! Screw East Central... I want to play.

Geez, it was one play. This is why foot work is so important for the O-line - one wrong step, and the blockers' own weight works against him. I did see several plays like this where Crick was double teamed and Suh was not. Crick is good, but Suh is all world; this was either a game plan problem or a major execution problem by the O-line.
