I love sports, but man... the thuggery of the players really pisses me off. I mean, really... it's sad when good guys get passed up for a guy who is a thug and a split-second faster running a 40.

True enough. I'm all for giving guys a second chance when they screw up and will always feel this way, but some of the crap you see some of these guys do is ridiculous, particularly when generally the only remorse they show is an acting performance that wouldn't pass muster on a soap opera.

I just can't wrap my mind around this behavior. I try to understand the situation is this is the best I got:

"I'm a top FR football recruit at a big time program. If work hard for a few years doing what I already love, I'll be a wealthy man for the rest of my life. But that is a few years off, so I think I'll knock off this convenience store for an easy $100. What's the worst that can happen?"
