Your favorite OU team in the Stoops era???

This team was set up to be my favorite OU team due to the heavy influence of players from Oklahoma.

But I will have to say the team in 2002 that won the Rose Bowl. With Hybl, Q, and Trent Smith, and Lance Mitchell, Teddy on D

Close 2nd is the 2006 team. Led by PT and AD I loved the way they showed how resilient they were week after week.

2002 was special because of the senior class, Stoops' first. All those kids that were freshmen on the 99 team.

The 2006 team was also special. Overcame a screw-job at Oregon and AD's injury to win the conference.

2008 - The most accurate passer at the college level I have ever seen and an offense built around him.

2008.We won a Big 12 title, did not suffer any losses to lame teams and were only a couple of plays away from beating UT,UF.

2001 was fun watching the defense. Especially in the cotton bowl (both times).

2006 and 2008 were fun to watch over the course of a season. What we accomplished in 2006 was pretty amazing.

if the 2001 Cotton Bowl was fun for you, id hate to see what a bad time was. I mean, yeah we won the game and the d was great, but i wouldnt call that a fun game.

2004. Other than the ugly display in the orange bowl it was a fun team to watch. AD was a freak and to see Jason White play one more year was worth while

2006 wasn't our most talented team, but I was really proud of them, even after I left Phoenix following Potato State selling their souls to the devil for that win.

2002, 2004, 2006, 2008....Can't really pick a favorite for a multitude of reasons.

Based on that, next year should be another great season.

Watching Sam play last year was a very special thing. Records are meant to be broke but it will be a while before someone scores that many points again.
